Club Objectives

The objects of the Society are:

(a) To become and remain registered with the Guild.

(b) To further the interests of enrolled students.

(c) To assist new students with orientation to the University.

(d) To encourage and promote cooperation between the Society and other Student societies.

(e) To do all things that are necessary and proper for the benefit and advancement of the Society and the Guild.

(f) The Western Australian Physiotherapy Students’ Society – Curtin Chapter (WAPSS Curtin) is a student led collective run by Physiotherapy students, for Physiotherapy students at Curtin University. WAPSS Curtin aims to facilitate a cohesive student experience by contributing significantly to the interaction of all physiotherapy students across all year groups by hosting various formal and informal events throughout the calendar year. WAPSS Curtin is dedicated to strengthening the relationship between the faculty and the students, and is a committed club, striving for professional excellence and success in future career endeavours. All members will be receiving a newsletter every month, including upcoming events and updated news in physiotherapy area. On top of that, members will be receiving discount to all our events throughout the year, including social events, professional development events and sports events.
